Terms and conditions

^{GENERAL TERM:}
●I sincerely appreciate clear and friendly communication!
●If possible, please provide neat references for your commission.
●In the absence of an image of your character, I would be happy to work with written descriptions, while keeping in mind that some creative liberties may be taken.
●I kindly ask that we maintain a positive atmosphere, as it enhances our collaboration.
●In the unlikely event of unacceptable behaviour, I may need to reconsider proceeding with your commission. If work has already begun, please note that any payments made are non-refundable. Additionally, I reserve the right to decline the commission if the guidelines are not followed. Thank you for your understanding!

^PAYMENT:
►I kindly request that commissions be paid half at the beginning and half upon completion, or if you prefer, a full upfront payment is also welcome.
►I accept PayPal. If your character has a lot of intricate details, there may be a need for a slight additional charge, but I'm more than happy to discuss this with you!
►Once I approve your commission, we can have a lovely consultation to discuss any changes you'd like to make and any necessary adjustments to the price.
►Please ensure that the funds are available before we begin. If you'd like to switch to a different character to avoid those additional charges, please let me know.
►I kindly ask that you hold off on any payments until after our consultation. Any funds sent prior to my acceptance of your commission will be considered a donation.

^PROCESS:
●First we will schedule a consultation to discuss any (price) adjustments.
●I will send the sketch to you for your approval, which will be the only opportunity to suggest any changes to the character's design, pose, etc.
●I’d be happy to provide Work in Progress updates upon your request, typically once a week for larger projects.
●Typically, your art will be completed within a week. Please note that the completion time for your commission may take up to 3 months, depending on various factors such as health, the order of commissions, complexity, or family matters. If any of these factors arise, I will certainly keep you informed as soon as possible.

**^{CUSTOMER SATISFACTION:}
►Customer satisfaction is my top priority, and I truly want to ensure that you are happy with your commission.
►Once the artwork is completed, I can accommodate small adjustments, such as fixing minor colouring or marking errors.
►However, if you’re considering larger changes, like altering outfits or backgrounds, those would entail an additional charge as it would require a complete redraw.
►Please rest assured that if I make a mistake, such as misinterpreting your description or overlooking a detail, I will gladly correct it at no extra cost. It’s usually most helpful to address any corrections during the sketch or work-in-progress stage.
►Additionally, if your reference wasn’t very clear from the beginning, there might be a small fee for minor adjustments. To assist me in bringing your vision to life, I would greatly appreciate your clarity with the order.

^{CANCELLATION AND REFUND:}
●Once your commission payment is received, I would be able to offer a 50% refund in the event of a cancellation.
●However, if you've opted for a 50/50 payment plan, I will not be able to provide a refund.
●If you have not yet made any payments, please feel free to cancel your commission at that time without any issues.
●Should you have any concerns about the quality of the work, I’m more than happy to make minor modifications to ensure your satisfaction. However, please note that a refund would not be available in such cases to prevent any misuse of the policy.

^COPYRIGHT:
►I remind you that as the artist, I retain all rights to the drawings I create. This means I have the opportunity to showcase my artwork, promote it, and even publish art books that include the piece.
►As the commissioner, you are more than welcome to use the artwork for personal purposes, print it, and display your character(s).
►However, please remember that claiming the artwork as your own is not permitted. If you give me appropriate credit, you’re also welcome to use the art to promote yourself.
►It's important for both of us to be aware that any violation of copyright guidelines will result in the cancellation of all rights to the drawing. Examples of copyright infringement include:
Using the artwork for commercial purposes.
Taking credit for the creation of the artwork.
Removing any watermarks or signatures.
Altering the artwork without prior permission.
**►If you prefer your commissioned piece to remain private and not be shared publicly, please let me know at the outset. There will be a fee for this, which amounts to 25% of the total commission cost, as I will be unable to share the final product or work in progress during that time, leaving my accounts dormant. ►This means that such commissions cannot be shared on public websites by either of us. Once a piece is made private, this condition applies to both parties.
If you ever wish to revert your commission to a shared status, feel free to reach out! Just a small note, the fee for keeping it private will not be refunded, as it accounts for the time it was kept private.
►Lastly, please make sure to save the image once I send you the link, as I like to keep my storage organized. If it gets cleared, I won’t be able to recover it for you.
►If you are thinking about commissioning me for commercial use, I wanted to kindly inform you that the fee would be three times the regular price. **
